
In the final installment of a three-part documentary series telling the story of the origins of the town of Sudbury, Massachusetts in the 17th century, decades of tension between Native Americans and English settlers violently erupt in a single day of wrath – the Sudbury Fight of King Philip’s War. The film features Carl Sailor who plays the role of Ephriam Curtis as he journeys through the Sudbury area and meets up with members of the Nipmuc tribe whose land is just west of the English settlement of Sudbury.



Later in the film, the April 21, 1676 attack during King Philip’s War is depicted in what is today Sudbury and Wayland, Massachusetts, when approximately five hundred Wampanoag, Nipmuc, and Narragansett Native Americans raided the frontier settlement of Sudbury in Massachusetts Bay Colony.
