The Law School sits across the street from the 1660 Granary Burying Ground, the third oldest in Boston, that contains the graves of Edward Rawson (1615–1693), first secretary of the Massachusetts Bay Colony (1650–1686) as well as many Revolutionary War heroes, including Paul Revere.

Nearly 500 people who registered for the event gather in the Law School lobby before attending over sixty 45-minute sessions on a wide range of history topics.
