(Above) McNiff describes Williams’ life in England before he comes to New England where he befriends the Natives and defies the English authorities.

The event ends with a walk to the Weybosset Bridge where Williams served briefly as toll taker in 1660 and a visit to the Visitors’ Center on North Main Street.
