Trinki Brueckner of the Interfaith Partners welcomes Sagamore Po Wauipi Neimpaug (William Guy) who begins by describing the Pokanoket Tribe, the largest aboriginal nation in northeastern North America when the first colonizers arrived in the 16th and 17th century.

Harry “The Hawk” Edmonds offers a sacred tobacco prayer in both the Algonquin language and in English before men from the tribe play their sacred tribal drum.

Harry and his brother Lee “Braveheart” Edmonds perform a traditional dance before the audience is invited to share in a friendship dance.

Sachem, Po Pummukaonk Anoggs (Tracy “Dancing Star” Brown”) tells a traditional story about strawberries and forgiveness before audience members pose questions to her and the Sagamore.
