Providence College Professor Keith Morton and God, War and Providence author James Warren led a small group invited to join a walk to Margaret’s Cave where Roger Williams is said to have been sheltered in the winter of 1636. This is the second walk this year organized to view the location that is on private property. Both Keith and James talked about what is known about Williams’ visit as well as what is known about the Pokanoket Tribe’s likely use of the land near the Cave.
